Washington County

Early Childhood Mental Health Program

This program serves children 0-5 who may not be meeting their developmental milestones on time or experiencing behavioral concerns. ECMH helps parents evaluate their child to determine developmental and behavioral needs and connect families to the appropriate community resources. Children must be Medicaid-eligible but do not need a mental health diagnosis. This education-based program works with the child's support network on school readiness by connecting them to community resources including occupational, speech and physical therapy and mental health care providers.

The Case Manager will provide age-appropriate activities and model evidence-based parenting strategies in a non-judgmental way to establish boundaries and structure for the child.
